This is the easiest review........ Best dim sum in the city. They hit on all points, pick a point, name a point they have it covered. Clean restaurant , friendly service, timely service, flavorful food, great selection on the menu, they make a GREAT Singapore noodle GREAT, and dumplings are delicious. I got the steamed chicken, corn, with mushroom. They are not afraid to make the dish spicy if it calls for it. I went two days in a row and will be back every time I am In town until I try the whole menu. Scallion pancake is good too! nice and crispy. Thank you to them is well in order. I'll be back I'll be back I'll be back I'll be back

The most recent time I came to Dynasty Dumpling definitely bumped this place up to 5 stars for me! It was my second time eating in the restaurant, and the service and food were absolutely deserving of the highest praise. My group of 8 came in on a Friday a little before 8pm and it was really busy inside. Every table was basically full, so we put our number down and went to Scopo Divino across the street to enjoy some wine while we waited. I got a call at 8:30 that our table was ready, so we headed over. Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming even though we were getting seated within 30 minutes of closing. We ordered walnut prawns, salt and pepper fish, garlic chow mein, veggie fried rice, mapo tofu, cumin lamb, orange chicken, crab and pork xiao long bao, bbq pork buns, pan fried pork buns, and har gow. The food started coming out shortly after we ordered and everything was piping hot and fresh. The new standout items for me were the garlic chow mein, cumin lamb, and pan fried pork buns, but there was nothing bad to say about any dish. The garlic noodles came with thick and chewy noodles tossed in a delicious garlic butter sauce, made even better with some of their chili oil. The cumin lamb was sooo tender and flavorful, and went so well with some rice. The pan fried pork buns had a nice thin wrapper, full of juicy meat, and was crispy on the bottom. I didn't get to try the veggie fried rice and mapo tofu, but they got good reviews. The dim sum was pretty good too, my fav being the flavor of the soup in the crab and pork xiao long bao. We had a vegetarian and pescetarian in our group, and there were good options for both of them. The house cold sake was easy to drink and went well with the fried and spicier dishes. Huge shoutout to the restaurant for staying open until almost 10pm for us, we were so thankful that we got to enjoy our meal and we weren't rushed out. It was some of my friends' first time coming to visit and I'm so happy I got to share this neighborhood spot with them! :D

This is by far the BEST Chinese food we have had. My little girls are picky eaters and they ate the entire generous portion of chicken Chow Mein. I had the dumpling soup and it was so delicious. Not heavy and savored it as if it were made at home. Service was also pleasant and place is cozy and very clean. Highly recommend it!

My little nephew loves bbq pork buns, so I recommended we check this place out since I've had great experiences ordering delivery from here a few times. We all ended up liking it way more than we expected and I can see myself checking this place out more often. Big fan of their braised eggplant, chicken chow mein, turnip cakes, and pan fried pork buns. The kids also loved the sesame balls here. Staff is super friendly too!

Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. We did not have to wait, but the restaurant eventually filled up and had a bit of a wait as the night went on. XLB - 4/5. I am usually not the biggest fan of XLB, but I liked theirs here. Mine was not super hot like XLB normally is; this could be a good or bad thing depending on how you like your XLB. Dry braised seasonal beans - 4/5. Solid vegetable dish, but this dish was actually quite spicy! If you can't handle spice, you should just get the garlic beans option. Pan fried pork buns - 5/5. This is my favorite dumpling over XLB, and this place does it really well. I really liked this dish. Dry fried chicken wings - 3/5. They gave a LOT of wings, which was good! The taste and the friedness on the chicken was just okay though. Other places make better versions of this dish. Beef roll - 3/5. I liked the pancake on this roll, but I did not like how the beef was a bit cold?? I would have preferred if the beef was warm too, but the vegetables inside like the cucumber were cold. Parking is street parking only. It could get difficult in that area, but people come and go in that area pretty often. Overall, a good Chinese/dumpling place in SF. Not the best, but it compares to the other "top" dumpling spots in SF.

The place definitely hits the cozy aspect. The place was not too loud, the service was to the point but good. The custard bun was good (extremely soft), the spicy xlb was decent, and the crystal shrimp was amazing. As dumpling places in sf goes, this is definitely top 10 (maybe even top 5) overall. The only caveat is the service is a bit slow and I wish the spicy stuff was spicier :)

With the launch of all the dumpling crazed places in the City I am skeptical in just another dumpling place. To me Chinese Dim Sum dishes are a cheap way to enjoy my ethnic cuisine so in crazy San Francisco when this place opened up, I was a bit skeptical. Dynasty opened in late 2023 in a location that for a long time has been a really sad location for Chinese restaurants. It has a lot to overcome the stigma of that space. The dim sum is good. The pan fried fork buns are differently prepared and the chili pork dumplings were nice and spicy. Also had the har gow (Shrimp and chive dumplings) and chicken chow mein (Singapore noodles). Is the place trying to be trendy or traditional? Food is better than the cheap dim sum to go places on Clement St. Now the catch is that it is a little more expensive like these new trendy dumpling places and some of the traditional names of dishes like Har Gow are non-existent and Americanized. That said, the crowd was very Asian and family oriented which gives me hope that the place does not become too trendy. Will be back for more of this simplified Asian cuisine.

Had a lovely yoga class across the street at Arise, and saw that Dynasty Dumping was available. I'm so glad I swung by! I'm a huge sucker for bitter melon dishes, so I got their beef + bitter melon dish and hot & sour soup. Yes, I got a small for the soup, can you believe it? All the flavors are so flavorful & authentic, and the service is very welcoming and fast. I'll have to come back and try their dumplings!
